La Pocha Nostra is a network of migrant artists from around the world. Their mission is to create an intercultural dialogue around issues of hybrid identity and political power relations. Mostly using performance and text, La Pocha Nostra wants to create an alternative map by connecting people through common experience of migration. La Pocha Nostra organizes performance workshops internationally in which local performers and audience collaborate with La Pocha Nostra artists in the construction of a new hybrid rituals inspired by their encounter. The goal is to find common thematic connections and aesthetic common ground between immigrants globally.
