Eileen Woods
Senior Partner and Artistic Director
Eileen is the artistic director for all Haring Woods projects, responsible for originating new cultural activities, curating and producing. Originally from New York, with a background in music theatre, broadcasting and film she has lived and worked in Dublin for 6 years and London for the past 28 years. As a cultural entrepreneur she has commissioned international artists across all disciplines to develop experimental works and large scale events. Current activities include working with Ben Barber and CivWorld as a member of the global steering committee for Interdependence Day; as a Friend of Safe Planet advising on the strategy for the campaign and producing Safe Planet projects, and she is developing a portfolio of new Haring Woods Studio public art and entertainment initiatives.
Career highlights include: Broadway shows, New York Film Festivals, London Film Festivals, Museum of the Moving Image (London), Regent Street Christmas Lights, London's Grand Christmas Parade, Covent Garden Flower Festival, 10 years consulting with the City of Westminster, the Seven Dials Festival, Artistic Director of Gunpowder Park (UK), The Art of Common Space and Bright Sparks R&D. She has been an active member of business, community and arts associations in New York and London and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Haring Woods Studio was formed with Michael Woods in 1996 to pursue their shared professional interests in arts, design and communication in the public realm and for social change.

Michael is a cultural entrepreneur and applies his extensive experience in creative and strategic planning from the commercial creative industries, to deliver innovative new models of long term public / private sector partnerships for the public realm sector. With a background in international brand development, promotion, and arts and culture initiatives, he has produced a wide range of public events promoting arts and the environment and exploring civic responsibility. As Executive Director for the Gunpowder Park and Green Heart Partnership initiatives, Michael developed innovative models of public/private sector funding to support experimental arts and environment programming for Gunpowder Park, and interdisciplinary team working and public realm projects through the Green Heart Partnership. He has been the Managing Director and CEO of a group of companies over 30 years, providing design, production, management and technical services to the arts and entertainment industries worldwide. Michael continues to act as an advisor for Haring Woods' strategic consultancy projects.
Building on his extensive design and production experience, and continuing the family business tradition, Michael is launching Zoe-Est Studio, a new company specialising in the design and production of original decorative arts.
