Steve has recently joined Haring Woods to work on creating a new creative-led strategies and working with hard to reach community groups, especially through Perception AREA and Place on Earth.  Steve is a freelance producer, curator, and consultant working in a variety of media including live art & documentary. He has been a producer and director for True North Productions for Channel 4 with a number of current affairs documentaries in post-production. He has also made a series of documentaries for Birmingham City Council’s wide range of public sector services including health, education, and children, young-people and families. He has been the Creative Producer of Hybrid Productions, using research and production to produce and promote community co-operation and cultural representation across the arts. Steve has the rare ability to cut through red tape and get to the heart of what matters, and has spent 10 years working singularly with ‘hard to reach’ groups in the production of high quality arts programming.
