Call for Projects Manager


Haring Woods Studio has a new position for an individual with a minimum of 3 years experience working as a projects manager on arts and entertainment events, including festivals, conferences and exhibitions involving creative, local government and media partners in London, around the UK and potentially internationally. You will be working directly with the Haring Woods Studio team, led by Michael Woods and Eileen Woods, and international senior consultants Benjamin Barber and Jan Gustav Strandenaes.
 

As part of our small, dedicated team, you will be highly motivated, with superb, multi-tasking organisational skills, used to working to deadlines on multiple projects. Your experience of financial management will be supported by the Executive Director.  You will have experience of our inter-disciplinary, collaborative working process. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Strong writing skills, website content management, fluency in all Microsoft Office Professional packages are required, with knowledge of design-based packages.
 

Direct experience of working for or collaborating with local authorities is a key aspect of the job.  An interest or current participation in our range of core activities is equally important.  You would be working from the Haring Woods Studio London offices, travelling to client meetings and event sites.  Salary will be commensurate with experience.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a strong organisational mind, excited by managing partnerships and delivering creative projects in the public realm.

Project Coordination & Support
• Meetings, minutes, reports, diaries, project schedules, deadlines
• Project budgeting, purchasing and invoicing
• Contracting
• Direct liaising with clients, creative teams, media
• On site event management; festivals, exhibitions, conferences
• Organise, maintain and archive team and project files (hard files and
   electronic files)

Communications
• Manage Haring Woods Studio and project websites, CMS content,
    newsletters, facebook and other social networking sites
• Assist with press and PR requirements
• Liaise and co-ordinate external evaluators, and oversee evaluation
   processes
• Knowledge of desktop publishing; indesign, photoshop

Other:

Clean driving license
CRB check
