How Place on Earth can translate the agreements from Copenhagen into actions at grass roots level  Haring Woods present at NALGAO National Seminar, 17 February 2010 on alternative forms of cultural service delivery  Green Heart Partnership nominated for two Community Partnership Awards with the Local Government Chronicle 
Haring Woods Studio Associate Jan-Gustav Strandenaes, participated in the Copenhagen COP, experienced the intensity of the negotiations, felt the frustration among civil society and saw how the Place on Earth project can help build momentum towards the next UN conference on environment, governance and global warming and contribute to popular ownership of the fight against global warming.

Haring Woods Senior Curator/Producer Adriana Marques and Senior Consultant, Public Realm Tony Beckwith will be leading a workshop on Culture & Stronger and & Safer Communities at the National Seminar for the National Association of Local Government Arts Officers.  The workshop will use the working practice of the Green Heart Partnership to demonstrate how arts and creativity can help achieve informed and joined-up decision making.

The Green Heart Partnership, managed by Haring Woods has been nominated for the Best Partnership Award and for the Best Project award for GHP's work at Stevenage Town Centre Gardens.  The awards play a vital role in bench-marking best practice throughout the regeneration, development and sustainable communities sector.  Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 4th February 2010.
