2004-2005
A13 Artscape
Direction and production of film to celebrate the completion of artist designed landscapes, greener verges, cycle way and footpaths, lighting schemes, refurbished subways and landmark features. Design and production of A13 Wrap Party, City Hall, London.


2003
Seven Dials Festival
A three day arts, entertainment and promotional celebration of the sense of place of one of central London’s most vibrant quarters. Originated, curated and produced by Haring Woods. Funded by Shaftesbury PLC, and retailers.


2003
Westminster Gala, Theatre Royal, Drury Lane
The City of Westminster ‘s annual variety showcase of funded performing arts groups, from the ENO, the Royal Ballet to carnival groups.  Artistic Director/ Producer, Production.


2000 – 2001
Fashion Flowers Roadshow
New concept outdoor live dance fashion show promoting fab floral accessories and fashion. Covent Garden Market (as part of the Covent Garden Festival) followed by 10 city national roadshow. Concept, sponsorship and press management, design and production. Funded by Interflora, Kodak Weddings, Toni & Guy, city centre partners, media partners.


2000- 2004
Consultants to central London property developers, Shaftesbury PLC
Carnaby quarter rebranding, signage, Christmas lights and switch ons, promotional events.


1998-2000
Capital Link Partnership; strategic advisors to this central London public/private sector initiative for public realm design, management, safety and promotion.

Covent Garden Flower Festival
An 8 day arts and environment festival in and around Covent Garden Market involving the horticultural and landscaping industry, local authorities, artists, retailers, property owners, schools and colleges and newspaper and TV media. International press coverage. Originated and produced by Haring Woods/Vantage Production & Events.


1997
Come Alive Magazine Show
10 city national lifestyle brands and promotional roadshow, sponsored by The Daily Mail. Development, launch, exhibition design and build, co-management of 10,000 square foot show including cookery, fashion, live presentations.

1994, 1995, 1996
London’s Grand Christmas Parade; the largest theatrical parade ever produced in the West End. Over 2,000 participants, Disney style floats and inflatables, celebrities, international media, public/private partnerships, audiences over 500,000. Sponsorship and PR management, creative direction and production.

1997 – 2009
LIVCOM Awards The International Awards for Liveable Communities (previously Nations in Bloom) endorsed by the United Nations Environment Programme, the world’s only Awards Competition focussing on Best Practice regarding the management of the local environment. As Development consultants and event producers gained direct experience of over 400 local authorities best practice models around the world. Attended and produced events in Hamamatsu, Japan; Shenzhen,China; Stuttgart, Germany; Apeldoorn, the Netherlands; Niagara, Canada; London,UK; La Coruna, Spain.

2000-2004
VGroup: Vantage Productions & Events, Victor Mara, VGroup Creative Management
Three companies providing comprehensive creative, production and marketing services to the arts and entertainment industries worldwide, including all major UK theatrical producers and designers and leading promotions companies. Large scale corporate and trade events, production and management. Central London 18,000 sq ft studios, staff up to 50.

1996- 2006

Consultants to the City of Westminster, Department of Environment & Leisure; over 10 years of projects communicating strategy and policy through live events, publications; concept design, graphics, production.
·       Strategic Advisor to the West End team, leading on the redevelopment of Leicester Square; 3 years; included Al Fresco dining strategy, Leicester Square redesign and cultural strategy
·       Strategic Advisor and producer of the City of Westminster’s 4 winning submissions for LIVCOM; the International Awards for Liveable Communities
·       Live events design, build and management of Fuel cell and LPG vehicles in Westminster
·       Communications consultant on Air Quality Strategy

1996
Haring Woods Associates/Studio formed to develop interests in arts and environment and public realm projects. HW was a steering group member of Regent Street Association, Covent Garden Area Trust, Covent Garden Business Group, Royal Opera House Community Relations.

Sister company to Vantage Design, development, design, production, marketing and sponsorship of theatrical promotional and corporate events for national and international brands.

Design and build of 3 theatrical themes. Sponsorship and marketing support. Switch on ceremonies production.

New York Film Festival, NY Film Festival Galas, production manager, 15 years/. Worked with over 200 international directors, performers, producers including Elizabeth Taylor, Bette Davis, Laurence Olivier, Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey, Robert Altman, Fellini, Scorcese.

Out of Doors Festival, music, theatre, dance. Production manager 3 years.
Community Holiday Festival, Alice Tully Hall and Avery Fisher Hall, Production manager, 3 years.

1970-1996
Vantage Design, one of the UK’s leading promotional exhibition and graphic design and specialist build companies, with long term contracts with national and international blue chip companies including; Harrods, House of Fraser, Debenhams, Selfridges, Waterford Wedgwood, Laura Ashley, Jaeger, Ralph Lauren, Shiseido, Estee Lauder, Clarks and K Shoes, British Airways, United Airlines, Thorntons. Central London design studios and 60,000 square foot full service workshops, Newport, Wales, employing 30 – 50 staff.
