What is public and shared space?

This project from the Univeristy of Art in Trondheim is produced yearly. It is formed by series of events around the theme Art and Common Space. The programme includes artists, architects, philosophers and critics discussing around the theme of “What is public/common/shared/social space? This years spring programme included speakers such as Simon Harvey who presented on Art Take Away and The Scene of the Crime: Crisis Collaborations` which both have a central concepts public spaces and sharing authorship. He also presented on the Carnivalesque as common event and space. Architects Jan-Erik Andersson and  artist
Erkki Pitkæranta talked about their architectural firm which core mission is participatory creative acrhitectural design. Other speakers included Petri Berndtson/ London Consortium and Maaretta Jaukkuri.
