Open Source creates a common free space for everyone to use. Your Machines is an online free hub of tutorials and resources for artists. It helps to realize digital projects using FLOSS (Free and Libre Open Source Software). Anyone can be a contributor to the site highlighting the need for collaborative media production. One of the projects created out of this online sharing of resources, is OpenLab Glasgow, which gathered a group of people working with software for live performance and installation projects, to exchange advice on creative methodologies.
